My son has a math teacher this summer who does not mark the homework. They’re supposed to do it, but they don’t grade it. So they don’t know if they got it right or wrong. I have been very frustrated with this because I have said (too often) that if the person THINKS they understood the question, they won’t know to ask about it when the teacher goes over the “problems†in class.
Today my son got his test back. He made an 85. Because he didn’t know he was doing one kind of problem wrong. (He thought he was doing it right.) He missed three examples of that problem on the test.
GRADE THE HOMEWORK!
