I received the call today that I am a finalist for the English literature position at CC3.
I was actually rather surprised.
There was a comment that I thought indicated I wasn’t going to be in the running.
Even right after the interview, when I am usually fairly excited, I said I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t call me back. The interview questions reminded me of what I did well, though. That was good.
Of course, I was all excited about being a finalist. Then I got facebooked by a friend who said that she was a finalist there, many years ago, and didn’t get the job.
I need to remember that it isn’t over just because I have an interview.
