We went to the Miller Outdoor Theater tonight and enjoyed Twelfth Night.
My son did not particularly care for any of Olivia’s servants, finding them cruel and their actions painful. But the play was magnificent. He has been reading Shakespeare and watching the plays as movies. He said the play was far superior on stage. I tend to agree.
The play was very well done, though I am still not as fond as Duke Orsino as one ought to be, since he is the leading male character. Ever since my first exposure to the play, I have always been most fond of Antonio. I liked the characterization of him tonight as well.
