At SCMLA 2012, Dr. Linda Gray of Oral Roberts University discussed a 2009 Educational Media International article that said:
Teachers would be faster to adopt tech, if they had used it themselves.
Many teachers are not comfortable using tech. (I think we know that.)
A 2000 study by Professor Arnold said that profs often limit tools to basic tech.
Additional research shows teacher’s own use of and experience with tech effects use in classroom. (I think we all expect that.)
Teachers use more tech at home than do in the class. (I find that surprising.)
