TIME has an article entitled “30 Incorrectly Used Words That Can Make You Look Horrible.”
I’m not sure it will make you look horrible, but it will certainly dial down people’s perception of your intelligence.
As a college writing professor, I could make this list quite a bit longer, but the author did pick some good ones–especially those with apostrophes. Even majors have trouble with those these days!
