I was surfing the net and found that CC1 has opened a job, as of yesterday.
My boss said that it is because one of the teachers has been accepted to UT grad program. She was really excited about her opportunity. So they are going to have to replace her. The chair says they haven’t figured out the job descriptions, but I applied immediately anyway.
I did revise both my cv and the cover letter. It is amazing how individual all the cover letters for these different jobs are. I almost sound like different people, but that is part of the “emphasis” aspect of job hunting.
Turns out this person who was accepted into UT grad school is the wife of a colleague at SLAC. I didn’t know that at the time though.
