Academic Freedom and Academic Discourse

The Telegraph has an article on an academic discipline over showing another colleague a fruit bat sex published article.

The female colleague said it was sexual harassment, because he also made other overtures to her, using the science article as a not-so-subtle sexual innuendo.

He’d already been investigated and cleared of sexual harassment before the incident. I don’t know what I think about it. I certainly see that it could have been used as a part of sexual harassment. It also could have been an easily offended respondent.
